Thanks for the help!

Our competitors at the Recording Industry Assholes of America is trying to make sure that the search engines that compete with us have to stop linking back to us. This is really great news!

Right now about 10% of our traffic comes from these competiting search engines. With that ban in place that means that our traffic numbers probably will increase. Users will go directly to us instead and use our search instead. We'll grow even more massive. It's really hard to compete with Google, but if they can't index media search engines like us, we'll be the dominant player in the end.

So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU RIAA, this is great news for us! For once, we support your efforts in something! Let's make sure that TPB keeps on growing together!

Hey, great job not thinking it through, RIAA! :D Are these guys desperate, or what? They're fighting a losing battle, yet they continue to persist in their out-dated ways.

I have bookmarked this site long time ago, that's why whenever I want to download something I click there.. which directly takes me to website.. I don't visit Google.
whenever someone asks me where to download something, I tell them go and download utorrent from utorrent.com and then search torrent on TPB..
I just wanted to know why this web address changed from www.thepiratebay.org to www.thepiratebay.se
It would be great if you change thepiratebay.se to tpb.se

lamo when will our governments learn that the more they say no, the more we will try to do the opposite? it's not like I've ever used a search engine to find torrents and besides there is no regulating the YaCy Search engine so, yeah. if I can't find it on TPB (and that is very rare) then I guess I'll search YaCy to see if I can find it else where.

it a bit sad google wont do this. google likes the idea of controlling the gateway to the internet.
its a shame we can not simply shot those, who often bringing claims against TBP.

pirateshit.com so no matter how many ips they block its gonna keep working... m gonna make sure that it continues to be the most reliable mirror. it uses all the both 80 and 80 ipv4 and ipv6 ips of the piratebay...

When will TPB have full support for non-ICANN DNS? That will be the day to say goodbye once and for all for google and all its "USA compliant" services. Why would you google something that you already know where is?
